Mega Officially Launches Its First Android Version

The Kim Dotcom’s widely-known secure cloud storage service, Mega has officially released for Android users. This is not a new product, Mega has procured the service and reintroduced it on Android.


According to the company, the iOS and Windows versions are in their final phases of development and will be shortly released.

The app already packs most of the goodies that you would desire from a mobile cloud storage service, including automatic files upload from camera and several options to browse and share files from the Mega.

Apart from the acquisition note, the changelog says that the app has got a new design, provides the same thumbnails as you can view in the Mega site, includes an option to pick any folder on the device and other bug fixes and enhancements.

Mega is now downloadable via Google Play Store for free. This app is compatible with devices that run on Android version 2.3 and above.
