Nokia’s Here division of mapping has announced a new Beta app in partnership with Samsung. This Here (Beta) app has been launched exclusively for Samsung Galaxy Devices and will also work on Samsung Gear S.
Here app will be powering a Tizen app called Navigator which is capable of providing turn by turn navigation as well as public transport routing. Users will also be able to store map data on their devices which can be later on used for offline navigation as well.
The navigator app can be paired with Samsung Gear S as well. The amazing app gives users the capability of planning and calculating routes from a Galaxy device and this can later be sent to Gear S as well.
Here (Beta) app comes with the maps of almost 100 countries along with maps of public transport and directions of more than 750 cities in over 40 countries. The best part is that to use these maps, users won’t be need an internet connection. Another feature supported by this app is that it will provide live traffic information of over 40 countries. This app will be made available to users from October this year.
