The global business and financial news hub on iOS, Bloomberg has received a major revamp with a handful of new features.
In a nutshell, Bloomberg is a news app, which provides breaking news and top stories that help users to keep track of what’s happening in the world of finance. The app was landed on iOS in 2008, and it was modernized early last October to v3.0 with a fresh design and several other enhancements. Now, it’s been revamped to v3.1 with a lot of additional tweaks.
The major addition in the latest release is the ability to turn off thumbnail images on the news headlines. This can be implemented through the Settings menu within the app. In addition, you will also be able to tweet a paragraph or a portion of a paragraph from a story. For this, you need to long-press on a paragraph and select tweet on the contextual menu in order to tweet that.
The update also brings larger font sizes on the Market Data as well as Watchlist pages. Furthermore, the update also brings the following features:
- You can now view the content in landscape mode within Watchlist pages.
- You can minimize or decline the Watchlist summary.
- iOS 7 tweaks.
- Stability and performance upgrade.
