Dropbox v3.0 has recently been dropped on the Apple App Store, which brings some significant changes in addition to iOS 7 support. Yes, the app has finally been optimized for iOS 7, making it perfect with the rest of iOS 7’s white, blurred user interface.
The revamped version’s user interface includes iOS 7-style icons, menus and use of colors and whitespace. Alongside iOS 7 support, the update also provides support for AirDrop, which enables users to send their desired files and links to their nearby friends. It’s also very easy to send your files to other applications or save videos to your device’s library.
While the iPad edition allows users to switch between fullscreen and a split screen mode. Moreover, the update also brings the following features:
- Enhancements to speed; faster app launch, video playback and image loading.
- Fixes most common crashes.
- Rectified an issue that caused HTML to render as text.
- Plenty of PDF viewing updates.
