Evernote for iOS has recently been overhauled to version 7.3, which brings the most-requested features, including a modernized home screen with new customization options.
Firstly, the update brings a new home screen. It now features revamped New Note buttons that are now available at the top of the screen. They are quite big, nifty and easy to tap. Above them, you will encounter Settings gear. Just click on that to access home screen customization options.
You will now be able to choose 1 of 3 color themes: Classic green, light, and dark. With the latest version, you can also add, eliminate, or rearrange sections at any time. Also, you can now choose to show recently viewed content for your Shortcuts, Notes, Tags, and Notebooks sections. With this, you can smoothly jump to the content you are working on.
You can see your sync status underneath the Settings gear. With this, you will get to know your sync progress, or how recently your content was synchronized. Moreover, the company says that they have made the app much responsive and faster.
The Business Card Scanning has also been overhauled that now lets you to add scanned cards directly to your phone contacts. Furthermore, you are also allowed to set audio note quality in order to make the best for sound of file size.
In addition, the update brings the following enhancements:
- Resolved a bug that causes few users to never view card scan results.
- Your audio files will not be saved as corrupted files in specific cases.
- Several stability enhancements.
