Google+ for iOS Update Wipes Out Messenger for Hangouts App

Google has revamped its Google+ app for iOS, bringing it up to scratch with the latest Google+ update for Android. The latest update includes several significant features, including the Google Drive integration.


Now the integrated Google Drive functionality lets you view, edit and share photos on the cloud service. The update has also killed Messenger and replaced it with Hangouts app, which allows you to stay connected with your friends via video, text, or voice messages. You can also access and export your Messenger data by visiting Google Takeout service.

The update also brings support for Google Apps domain. Now users can limit their posts to specific domain and also assign domain icons to identify people.
