Now the Instagram is not just for sharing your pictures, it lets you upload videos too! Facebook has recently publicized that it has added support for video on Instagram and several different filters to beautify videos. This feature is available for iOS as well as Android users.
The video feature has mainly been introduced to help users to create and share videos as easy as possible. This feature lets users to shoot 15-second videos. The look of the latest version is same as that of its previous version, but the only difference you can notice is the presence of video camera icon next to the major capture icon. You can tap the video icon to record a video of the specified run-time, and when you upload that, it appears on the main feed of the Instagram.
The core functionality of the Instagram video resembles to that on the Vine. But, Instagram video consists of a ‘Delete’ button that enables users to remove the recently recorded clips, which Vine lacks. Moreover, Instagram allows users to shoot clips of 15-sec, while Vine video only enables 6sec clips.
Once you have recorded a video, you can tap Next to to display filters on the screen. From here you can pick 1 of 13 unique filters to beautify your clips. The company says that the filters were developed with the help of a video expert. The update also adds a cinema mode, which helps users to crop in on their video clips like professionals.
You are also allowed to pick a cover frame, a still image that appears when you share your video clip on other sites, or on the Instagram news feed. Additionally, you can also include a caption and location, and share your video clip on different sites like Tumblr, Foursquare, Facebook and Facebook.
