The elite cross-platform messaging app, Line, has just received another significant update. The latest version brings a couple of changes and bug fixes for a better user experience.
This update comes just over a week after the app’s last update, which brought a slew of new features, including voice calling and Snap Movie function. It even brought an enhanced home section to customize privacy settings for individual posts and also the functionality to remove users from Blocked and Hidden Users list.
Now the current version of the app follows up on the aforementioned features and enhancements. Firstly, the update brings an increased length of voice messages, i.e., up to 30 minutes.
In addition, the update kicks off Line spam as it includes a setting that prevents users (who are not in your friends list) from sending you messages. All you have to do is activate the ‘Filter Messages’ option in the privacy settings section to avoid messages from non-friends.
Furthermore, the latest version also received the support for Background App Refresh functionality on iOS 7. This feature allows the app to update its content with new received messages even when running in the background. Also includes minor bug fixes.
The updated version of Line is available for iOS users through Apple App Store. The app is compatible with devices that run on iOS 4.3 or above.
