The powerful Podcasts manager for iOS, Pocket Casts, has just received a major update. Version 4.1 brings a lot of new features and significant bug fixes.
Few days ago, Pocket Casts 4.0 was rolled out for the Apple’s latest OS. The update was specially developed around iOS 7, which was packed with a slew of new features. Even though it just recently received the update with complete redesign, the updates don’t freeze there.
The latest Pocket Casts 4.1 version brings the support for advanced podcasts that have chapters. Furthermore, there is also a new Sections category in the Podcast episodes page, which allows you to quickly view what you have played and what you haven’t.
The update also includes the following interesting features:
- Accessibility and Voiceover support for iPhone users.
- OPML export functionality to backup your subscriptions, or use them in considerably inferior apps.
- Added new actions that can be used for podcasts and playlists to make doing things quickly easier.
In addition to the above mentioned features, the update also brings a ton of remarkable bug fixes for better user experience.
The latest version of Pocket Casts is downloadable via Apple App Store. Users can grab the update for free, or need to pay $3.99 if downloading for the first time. The app works with iDevices running on iOS version 7.0 or above.
