Pocket, the app that allows users to save their desired content to watch/read later, has received an update with support for AirPlay alongside significant enhancements and bug fixes.
The AirPlay integration lets users to stream their favorite saved videos to a local Apple TV. Just launch the app on your iDevice, click the new AirPlay button and then select your Apple TV to play that video clip on the big screen.
In a recent blog post, the company has reported that over 2 million videos are added to the mix every week. And your videos will keep playing even when you close the app, ideal for multi-taskers who want to simply relax, check their mails or hang on Twitter, the team adds.
In addition, the app’s bookmarklet now works accurately when installed in Chrome. A bug has also been fixed with sharing links to Facebook. Furthermore, the revamp also includes some minor bug fixes, significant optimizations, and enhancements.
The company hasn’t specify whether or not it will add the similar functionality to Android incarnation for sharing with Chromecast.
The latest version of Pocket for iOS is downloadable via the link given below. The app is optimized for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 6.0 or above firmware to be compatible.
