Sky Guide for iOS Brings Support for iOS 7 and Enhanced Sky Tracking

The folks behind the wonderful stargazing app for iOS, Sky Guide, have updated the app with support for iOS 7, along with a plenty of enhancements.

Now the current version of the app is completely compatible with iOS 7, and features a fresh UI with great clarity, parallax effect for articles, efficient type for custom font-sizes.

The update brings the following features for all the iOS 7 and non-iOS 7 users:

  • New red night mode.
  • Enhanced sky tracking: much more responsive, accurate and smoother.
  • More than 250 visible satellites.
  • Displays the current planet magnitudes.
  • Shows the current Moon phase with percent illumination.
  • Other performance and user experience enhancements.

The app also features a $1.99 in-app purchase to get access for the entire illustrated articles with interesting histories, and future flyover timings for satellites.

iOS users can grab the update for absolutely free. But, if you are downloading for the first time, you need to pay $1.99. The app is compatible with devices running on iOS version 6.0 or above.
