The widely popular music app, Spotify for iOS has got an update with some pretty new features and enhancements.
Firstly, the update brings a new ‘Browse’ feature to the iPad. This is a playlist discovery tool that replaces the ‘What’s New’ functionality, which was previously accessible through the menu bar, with a blend of mixes based on the moods, newly launched stuff and a wide-range of music genres.
Whereas the premium subscribers will be able to keep up their buddies and favorite artists to view when they launch new album or publish a playlist. This feature is currently available for iPad users only; the company says that they will roll out this feature soon on iPhone as well.
The update also brings a toggle feature, which lets you specify whether your individual playlists are public or private. Moreover, the search functionality has also been polished and more responsive than in the former versions, and the design for the viewing playlists has also been improved.
The update also brings a simpler and a better streamlined login and signup for iOS users. And also rectified an issue that caused annoyance while sharing to SMS, Twitter, or email.
