Tweetbot 3 for iOS Brings the Ability to View Photos in Direct Messages

Tweetbot 3, the renowned Twitter client on iOS, has just got a minor revamp that provides users the ability to view photos in Direct Messages.

Few weeks ago, Twitter has modernized its iOS app with the facility to send as well as view photos via direct messages. Now it’s time for Tweetbot 3 to receive the feature, although in a narrowed usage at first.

The latest version of the Tweetbot has received support for photos in direct messages, but it’s just for viewing them. This is because Twitter’s public API still does not provide support to export photos through direct messages.

As it stands is a nice start, though, direct image messaging support is lacking in the latest update. The app now features a link as well as a preview of an image in your direct message conversation. Users can either click on the link or the preview in order to open the photo in a full-screen mode.

The update also includes a slew of bug fixes.

Users can download the updated version of Tweetbot 3 from the link given below. The app works with devices powered by iOS 7.0 or above firmware.
