Microsoft has launched a significant update to its Xbox Music app for iOS, moving it to version 2.0.3. This latest version includes only one feature, but it’s a major one; support for offline playback.
Xbox Music, of course, the official client of Microsoft’s music streaming service, was launched on iOS last September, and got its first major revamp in the month of October, which has added support for artist-based radio stations in addition to few user interface tweaks and enhancements to iOS 7 compatibility.
Now the app has got its second major revamp. It includes the much-awaited feature – offline playback support. Users can now listen to their favorite tracks while on the go. To make a playlist available for offline access, just switch on the ‘Available offline’ option for that particular playlist.
