YouTube App Receives Support for iOS 7 Keyboard

Google has released an update to its official YouTube iOS app, bumping it to version 2.3. The latest version brings the much-anticipated iOS 7 keyboard support among few other notable additions.


YouTube app for iOS has got a revamp back in October last year. That revamp has introduced support for video quality selection over WiFi, accessibility tweaks, iOS 7 compatibility enhancements; but hasn’t included the iOS 7 keyboard support. Well, now the latest update to the app has brought the iOS 7 keypad support

Moreover, the update also brings few trademark iOS 7 visual improvements, including background blurring and sidebar translucency. With the latest version, users will also be able to find their desired playlists, video clips and channels together in search results. To the point, this has long been available in the app with individual tabs for playlists, video clips, and channels within the search results screen.

Lastly, the update also includes the ability to format, position, and user settings for subtitles/cations in addition to few significant improvements.
