New York Times, a global news publishing and information company has launched a news App that supports BlackBerry 10 users. The App provides latest news updates and bring the journalism of New York Times at your finger tips.
This latest news App introduced a responsive and intuitive interface that incorporates all native features that comes up with BlackBerry 10. The App users can find news related to 25 different sections, videos, side shows and blogs with updated information.
Salient features of the App includes:

- Save favourite articles on multiple platforms
- Get alerts for latest breaking news and interesting news
- Provides sharing option to shell out the articles, videos on various social media networks
- Supports e-mail service
The App features an in-app authentication for the users to provide a streamlined reading experience. Non subscribers can view the news updated under “Top News” section and to gain full access, users have to purchase or subscribe for digital subscriptions.
Denise Warren, the General Manger, Senior Vice-president and CAO of the New York Times media Group has said that” the native functionality and eminent features of this news Application will enable all its BlackBerry 10 device users to read the content present on NYTimes.com and distribute it over different social networks”.
Currently the App is available for BlackBerry 10 users at BlackBerry App world.
