The extravagant Google’s laptop, Chromebook Pixel has got an app named Google+ Photos app. This new application has specially been designed to help users to browse, back up and share their Google+ images.
This app will back up new pictures to the Google+ automatically, once the user put in his/her external SD card into their laptop. Undoubtedly, these pictures are only visible for the users to view. This app keeps all the pictures in one location, be it from the user’s mobile, folders, or camera. As these pictures are automatically organized in the Google+, users can choose the snaps they wish to share from their collection.
Even if the user is offline, he/she can see his latest pictures. The laptop owners also have the option of either sending individual snaps or a set of snaps and even the complete album. The only thing they have to do is to select their desired pictures and tap Share icon.
Currently, this app is only available for the Chromebook Pixel. If users have a Chromebook Pixel, but not the high-end one, they should wait as the company is looking to bring the app even to other Chromebooks. But it is not clear that other Chrome OS devices will receive this app too, or only Chromebooks.
Here is the app’s feature list:
- The app brings all the pictures to a one place.
- Keeps the pictures safe and users can access from any device like computer, phone, or tablet in a breeze.
- Automatically organizes photos, which users can readily share them.
High-end Chromebook Pixel users can download the app from here.
