A new app called MyPhotostream has just been released for Mac users. It’s a simple app that helps users to save, manage, and backup photos captured from an iOS device.
Once you launch the app, it pulls down all your photos from your Photo Stream and then displays all of them in a nifty, minimalistic interface. From here, you can seamlessly view, share or save your Photo Stream with the help of built-in tools, and on the other hand, Notification Center notifications will notify you when new images are added to the mix.
The app will sort your photos in chronological order, rather than in different events/albums. And the app only features your main Photo Stream, nothing is shown apart from that. Moreover, it’s worth mentioning that the users will only be able to access the app if they do have either Aperture or iPhoto installed on their device, the company reports.
Mac users can download and use the MyPhotostream app for no charge for 7 days, later you will have to pay $3.99 in order to access full version.
