TweetDeck for Mac Now Allows Users to Send and View Photos Via Direct Messages

Twitter has launched a major update to its TweetDeck Mac app with a couple of new additions, along with a significant bug fix.

Firstly, the modernized version brings the ability to see and also send their desired snaps through direct messages. Three weeks ago, this feature was rolled out to the Twitter iOS app. Whereas a couple of days ago, 3rd-party Twitter client, Tweetbot 3 for iOS has received support for viewing images in direct messages.

In order to send photos, just click on the camera icon available when writing a direct message and then attach your desired photo from your device to your message.

In addition, the update also brings the ability to add tweets to custom timeline through URLs. Custom timelines are specialized columns, which users can seamlessly monitor by adding curated tweets to that. Simply feed the tweet URL in the field available at the bottom of your custom timeline to include the corresponding tweet.

Lastly, the update also fixed a bug that usually caused the login session to get ceased across restarts.

Mac users can download the latest version of TweetDeck from the link given below. The app is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 or above firmware.
