Microsoft releases a new Flixster Xbox 360 App for web users

Flixtser has joined the list of latest webservices that has launched an unleashing App for Xbox platform.


The App provides instant access to 1000’s of latest and popular movies either to download or rent or to purchase. It even depicts the screening times of nearby theaters and movie reviews. It share detailed information about upcoming movies and portray movie ratings given by the Rotten Tomatoes website.

Users who purchase the movie can access it through the UltraViolet cloud service and can even view the movie library through Flixster App.

  • Acquire entire movie details including the movie synopsis and Rotten Tomatoes rating

Currently the App is available for Xbox live users residing in United States. The App is integrated with several other movie streaming App like Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, Crackle, HBO Go, Redbox instant and many other.

Microsoft has announced Xbox users can see many such Apps and most of them are expected to be launched by 2013.
