Microsoft has just rolled out a noteworthy update for its Facebook app for Windows Phone, bringing several new features out of beta.
According to Microsoft, the latest version of the app has been overhauled with several handy upgrades. However, the company has only specified about one new addition: the ability to attach and upload images to messages in batches.
The app also offers the ability to unlike content as well as unfriend people. Both of these are basic abilities that are available within the web, iOS, and Android versions.
The app also offers support for inline tagging, allowing users to mention their buddies regardless of what type of content you are posting. This is a very useful feature for mobile users, as they can easily tag names in a post while on the go rather than navigating through menus to send a message.
Finally, the update brings support for 19 additional languages. In addition, MIcrosoft has also mentioned about a few unspecified navigation enhancements and performance tweaks to make checking-in and posting content to Facebook much easier and faster.
The latest version of Facebook is downloadable via Windows Phone Store for free. The app is compatible with Windows Phone 7.5 and Windows Phone 8 devices.
