Gameloft’s latest racing game franchise, Asphalt 8: Airborne has recently been dropped on Windows Phone and Windows 8 stores, which appears 3 months after its launch on iOS and Android platforms.
Asphalt 8 features an all-new physics engine and allows players to race through different areas like towns, tunnels, off bridges, and along the superhighway at high speeds. You can also perform dynamic, aerial stunts, a new twist to the game.
You can choose between single-player Career mode and multiplayer action mode, and race in 1 of 47 luxury licensed cars from world’s leading manufacturers like Ferrari and Lamborghini. According to the Gameloft, 80% of the cars are new. Moreover, you can race in 9 different locations like Guiana, Venice and so on.
The Career mode has 8 seasons and 180 events. Whereas the multiplayer mode lets you challenge up to 8 real players. You can even challenge your buddies to asynchronous races.
The game also brings several hidden shortcuts for you to discover, presents a thorough damage system and offers exciting Drift Gate as well as Infected game modes. In addition, the game also features high-reliability car motor sounds in order to offer you a realistic audio experience.
The game also supports leaderboards where you can show off your high scores and even compare your game progress with other players’ progress.
