Instagram has just launched a first major update to its Windows Phone app, bringing it to version 0.2. This latest version is at close feature parity with its iOS and Android counterparts.
The update brings a new ‘Tagging’ feature, which lets users to tag their buddies in the photos, and these assigned tags automatically link back to their Instagram account. The latest version has also received a new ‘Photo Map’ feature that lets users to add a location to their snaps and then view their photos on a nifty map.
Moreover, the update also includes several bug and crash fixes and interface tweaks. The app is on beta testing, so the company is still working on some elements that need to be polished.
