GroupMe for Windows Phone Receives Support for GIF Image

GroupMe, the cross-platform group messaging app, has been revamped to version 4.7.1 on Windows Phone platform. This update brings few new features alongside significant enhancements and bug fixes.


The former version of the app (v4.7) launched back in December has introduced a new design, ability to assign a larger group avatar to your groups, seamlessly explore videos and photos shared in your groups within the gallery, and few other enhancements.

Now the latest version (v4.7.1) brings support for GIF. Now, you will be able to view images as well as GIFs shared through URL in a chat. Moreover, the revamp brings the ability to view the groups that are unmuted/muted and support for hiding Direct Messages. Furthermore the revamp includes enhancements and bug fixes that provide you a better experience.
